New England Steel Guitar had our November show November 9 and what a great time it was. A fantastic crowd. The Rhode Island Rednecks and our member steel players Erwin (from upper New York), Vinnie, Ben and Sam did a fabulous job,We are having two shows in December.
The first one will be December 21 and the band will be BRANDED along with our member steel players.
The second show will be December 28 and the band will be SNAKEBITE along with our member steel players. Thank you to all that supported us for our last show and hope to see you all next time. We now have 57 members and our officers were reelected at our meeting before our show.
KEEP IT COUNTRY!!

Yes what a great crowd of people that were there and thank you for the fifty fifty I won $96.00.We used that money to go to North Carolina to buy a home down there as we will be moving back down there. North Carolina is the best place we ever lived and this is our fourth move there and that is where we will stay until i die. Great people there and we stayed at Ray Cross and sharon's home while we were there and we found a real nice home with 3/4 of a acre of land right around the corner of our good friends Jimmy and Adonna Dickens and close to Ray and Sharon. Ray cross had his whole band there for practice and what a great band he has put together. The Steel player is young and only been playing for a little over a year and he does a fantastic job playing his Mullens Steel Guitar.
See you guys today at Post 15 East greenwich.

Anna and I went to the the American legion post 15 yesterday and we had a good time dancing and being with all our friends there. Some of the new England Steel Guitar players and members were their also.WOW we now have 57 members and still growing.I'm kind of disappointed in the RISGA as they did not draw a crowd at their Steel Guitar Show. I would like to know why RISGA has their Steel Show in Fall River MA. and it is a Rhode Island Steel Guitar Association that my Wife Anna and I started back in 1997 with about 5 to 6 Steel players sitting in with Hank Walters Band at Memories. Johnson R.I. It is chartered in Rhode Island and it is not chartered in MA.They made us honorary members because a friend brought it up at a meeting.WE went to the Steel Show in MA. and we were not even reconized as the founders. We will not be going to any more of the Steel Shows or meetings we are done with RISGA.
Sorry the friends we do have in RISGA.
