it looks like a metal neck with black inlay, but I'm no expert on BMI, so it's just a guess...

They have wood necks or some kind of dieboard if that's the word. Looks like it was a D-10 at one time and some one took off the C6th neck. To bad. They wouldn't have manufactured it, and went through all that trouble of drilling out all those holes for C6th. Probably Late 70,s for two reasons; Individual adjuster holes called honeycomb. Around the mid 80's they started milling those end plates out. The early changer fingers have string end studs. This was changed in the early 80's I believe. Sperzel tuners also.
