With original case - everything works - even the battery cover stays on.

The needle is very sensitive and accurate .. It's a great tuner and has an in / out plug

If you look at the photo the dial has a hairline crack but it has never been a problem and the cover has a dent. It was always packed in my steel case so it was treated gently but hasn't been out of the house for a long time.
