This guitar started out life as a D-10 Professional, but it made some poor choices in life and wound up down a neck with 3&1 and a bad pickup until I found it and gave it a new direction. It's a "player", a "beater", whatever you want to call it. A show queen it isn't. But, it plays well and holds a tune. I was going to keep it for a second guitar, but I want something smaller/lighter. So, I'm selling her for $850 (plus shipping) or will trade for a little single neck/single frame guitar with 3&4. I might throw in a little cash for the right guitar.
Oh yeah, it's got a case which is functional, but just barely. It is what it is.
Here's the whole story:

Forgot to mention, it has a Wallace True-Tone pickup. I have the original which I can send along with the guitar.

I see a lot of posts agonizing over which student model should I get? (I.e., How much compromise in construction and flexibility can I suffer to not spend a lot of money?) This would be a great instrument for a beginner (especially a young 'un able to handle the weight) and a huge step up from student models, many of which are even more expensive. As far as I'm concerned, old Sho-Buds are at the top of the heap (with ZB and Emmons) as the best-sounding production steels ever made.

Somebody had better jump on this fast.
