F/S - 1962 Gibson Melody Maker D - Price reduced

This isnâ€™t a collectorâ€™s item. The Kluson tuners were replaced with Grovers. The original bridge (which I have and is included) has been replaced. Also, it appears a vibrato bar of some sort had been installed and removed at some point before I purchased it in 1974. The pickups, pick guard, volume and tone controls, jack and wiring are all original. The neck and body have been sanded where they join. The result is that it is very easy to play in the higher fret range. The guitar is very light weight.

Reason for selling this guitar is to - of course - finance the purchase of another pedal steel guitar. Price is $900 plus shipping. PayPal only.
