Just a few days away. I've really enjoyed putting this show together for the last few years and this year is no exception. Some great musicians and singers again this year.

Country Dave - there' a guy in Missoula MT named Micheal Allen Ward who finished a bunch of songs from a notebook that Gram left with his friend John Nuese, from the famed International Submarine Band, featuring Gram.

The resulting album was produced by Carl Jackson and nominated for a Grammy. James Burton and Al Perkins (and others) played on the album, which I believe has become somewhat of a collectors item. If you are interested I could put you in touch with Mike and I'm sure he'd be interested in talking with you about your tribute and perhaps would like to attend.

Good to hear from you Gary. I love those songs. Please do put in touch with Mike. You can send me a PM or email.
Where in Oregon are you living these days?
I play some Portland gigs fairly frequently. I'll be at The Landmark Saloon on Dec 6 and am planning to attend the steel jam in Beaverton on Dec 7. It'd be great to do some catching up.

Intersting Gary! I guess it went by without much noticing by anybody.

It truly was a great night. Packed house and the band and guest singers put on a fine show.
We will have some video to come.
Wish I had my own jet and I'd be in Denver tomorrow for yours.
