They both weigh 35 pounds.

As much as I love my Music Man, It weighs a @#$%& ton, and I'm getting very tired of lugging it around. 35 pounds sound very attractive to me right now.

Mike, I don't think there is any comparison of the Quilter to the Roland Cube 80. I have both amps and even thought the 80 doesn't sound bad, it's no where near the clean sound of the Quilter. I just put my Cube 80 aside and play only fiddle thru it and sounds good on fiddle.
I might add that the Quilter Steelaire is a big amp, but it feels like it weighs less than 32 lbs

I agree, the Quilter is in a different league than the Roland..

Roland Cube 80 = 80 watts, 12" speaker

Quilter = 200 watts, 15" speaker

Completely different amps. The Roland specs are closer to a Nashville 112.

Thanks everybody. I'm leaning toward the Quilter, but I also have to consider the price.

I sold my NV112 and my steel king when I got the Quilter, and my twin hasn't left the house. I also owned a Roland. I preferred it a bit to the NV112 but ended up selling that as well.
