On November 7th this year I purchased this made in Mexco 1996 Blue Metallic Stratocaster here on The Forum. Unfortunately, I need to sell it to fund an upcoming purchase. It does come with whammy bar and back plate to cover the tremolo string cavity. $460 includes shipping and insurance in lower 48 states.

On WIKI....On February 11, 1994 the Fender manufacturing plant based in Ensenada, Mexico burned down. Fender President Bill Shultz decided to temporarily move production from the Mexico plant to the U.S. plant. These Fender guitars are fairly rare and can be identified by the unique serial number. So, I don't know if this is one of them or not. However this is a very nice 1996 Fender Strat with a few upgrades. Does come with hard case.
1-pearl Pick guard
2-Seymour Duncan JB Jr and Sounds very nice in the lead position.
3-Sperzel chrome locking tuners USA.
This guitar feels and sounds great. Does have a few handling places on it, Couldn't pick them up in the pix. Neck is in great condition, frets are fine. This really is a beautiful guitar the blue metallic really sets it off. Thanks for looking.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeHgO6kXLKU
