I've used a long pull on my A pedal for years. But I was curious what other players liked (long or short) and why?

Thanks!

I like long moves on the full tones, and short moves on the halves.

agree with Donny, especially to make catching the half steps a little easier.

Well after posting the question I decided to try the short pull on A pedal. I find it pretty handy for fast runs. But I went back - same reason - better control.
