Hi
Thanks for the info on the amp it was very much appreciated. I went back to check out the amp & it was a tca500a as shown on the back. He now wants $1000 for it. He let me try it out & loved it so I may buy it & sell my Peavey n-400. I also have a telonics pedal & a Mark-1x dual sound processor & was wondering if I can use it on this amp.
Thanks for all the info.
Dennis
Wondering why the chassis says tca-500a. |

|

Dennis,
The alpha suffix following the TCA500 model number in this case indicates the manufacturing/build/production designation. The TCA500a mark on this unit indicates that it was of the second production run.
(The next run after the initial TCA500 production run.)
There is currently an 8 week waiting list for these combo amplifiers.
Regarding EFX units:
These amplifiers have a studio quality full parallel mode Effects Loop with adjustable and calibrated SEND and RETURN levels.
If the seller does not have the original User Manual, please contact Telonics and we will email you the appropriate documentation.
Contact Sophie at: sophie@telonics.com
You will need to provide her with the serial number of the unit. |

Shoulda paid 5 the first time. I still suspect (and Dave knows for sure) that 1K is still WELL below the new price (I thought it was around 2, but I could be mistaken) for one of the best solid state amps out there. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |
