I am just wondering if anybody keeps their D2F style cover on when putting the steel in its case? Could it hurt? THanks _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112 |

I do. Been doing it for years now and I haven't had any problems. |

I do also. It fits quite a bit firmer and doesn't allow the guitar to shift while traveling. I've had no issues, thus far. _________________ “TONESNOB†|

I had an issue with my (name omitted on purpose) cover causing the end plate to cloud up , it really got dull..
I used Cali Purple to restore it , put the cover in a closet and use a clean towel to cover my steel at home ..
It's a couple years now.. and the end plate is still shiney as new..
was it the cover that caused it .. I think so |

I leave my D2F on the guitar when I use my SKB flying case - but not in my main road case ... I do have a nice lightweight cotton/felt type cover that Bruce provides with his new Zums that I leave on in the normal road case _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9
