Selling my '77 Sho Bud Pro I. Blonde, all wood, Emmons set up, 3 pedals with one knee. All original. Steve Lamb at Lamb's Music in Fort Worth just cleaned, lubed and adjusted it. It plays nice and sounds great. Includes original hardshell case and Sho Bud volume pedal. Serious offers only please. Thanks! Steve (817) 228-8310

Ask for pics (can't get them to upload to the forum...): starbucksstew@yahoo.com send your request to my email as, I'm not on the forum much these days/

I received this email today: "Tim Walker

hi, from the pic, your guitar is earlier - maybe a ’73/74. The round front of the cabinet indicates that.
i have one just like it - one of the best sounding guitars around. the early round front guitars are more desirable than the later square front models.
good luck with the sale.
tim"

I was told it was a '77... So that's what I went with. Who knows? Again, if you'd like more pics SEND ME AN EMAIL. I'm not on the forum much to check messages. Thanks!

The Pro 1 (and other Pro series) guitars didn't appear until late '75 or so. This guy is probably a '72 ish build. '73 saw the arrival of the barrels behind 2 hole puller guitars. The S-10 with 3 pedal one lever configuration is common for this era.

Wouldn't this simply be called a Sho-Bud 6139, before the Pro-I? I just sold one like it... 3x4 with a couple after-market KL's added. Great guitar with "that" sho-bud sound!

Yes, a 6139 from late '71 - early '72. Look here -->http://www.donblood.net/page5.php
