Most of us are aware that there are a large number of steel shows/conventions across the USA and Canada. In another thread, Fred Layman mentioned being pleasantly surprised at how many there are in Europe. I'm aware of the annual one in Ireland, an occasional one (I don't think it's annual) held in Netherlands and now one in Italy coming up.

Are there others outside North America?

I don't know if it is still being held but there was one in Japan. Joe Wright appeared at it and made a dvd which he sold. The DVD was really great. There was a Japanese honky tonk band. Joe said they didn't have it every year.
