Just chanced to catch a "Lloyd Green practice session prior to recording". It's on You Tube.

He slipped into and out of forward and reverse slants with ease. And WHO..........says pedal players never slant?

I don't know who says that, Ray. The more I learn, the more I work at slants. Sure I could add a lever here or there, maybe another pedal, and that would be alright, but I like working slants, figuring my way out of or into a situation that way. Pickers like Lloyd Green and Tommy White make slants worm right through a phrase and twist your ear right along with it.
