b0b,
I recieved my first set of jagwire strings from you last week. The Tommy White signature series nickel wound strings sound much better than anything i have used in the past. How did you get those strings from California to Georgia in such a short time?

The 3rd string is specially wound for the pedal steel and has outlasted any other string I've tried. I had one on there for two weeks that I just took off and replaced when I changed the whole set. I used the steel everyday during that two week period and much to my surprise it never broke and was still sustaining and holding pitch perfectly. Pretty amazing!!! |

Wayne,
First Class mail is pretty fast from Cloverdale. I always take the packages to the counter, and they postmark them right there. Maybe that gives it a jumpstart or something.

You can say that again... I've just recently began using Jagwire strings and the .011 has already doubled the life of previous brands i've used.. I'm extremely satified with these strings. [This message was edited by BobG on 30 March 2003 at 11:42 AM.] |

b0b Received those Jagwire strings in the mail today and am anxious to give them a try, especially to see what kind of mileage I can get out of the no# 3--g# |

I bought my sets from Jeff Bradshaw in Alberta a few weeks ago and placed the Nickle ones on the SD10 last Thursday night to get them bedded in for the weekends jobs... the 3rd lasted 'till midway through Saturday night......the sounds of them are great though.....just my thoughts.
