I just bought the El Capistan a few months ago. I would have waited if I would have known. Dang it. I bet it's going to be a great pedal. May have to get that one too.

Please let us know how you like it. 😊

You can't go wrong with the El Capistan, and it looks like this new pedal is somewhat limited as just a delay. Sounds like it nails that tape slap back sound though. I was sorta hoping to hear it do the sped up les paul effect, though I'm sure that isn't so simple...

i was at the deco's coming out party at strymon last saturday and tried it out. it does sound very good but i can pretty much do what it does with what i already have. it emulates tube saturation but i have a fulltone fulldrive 3 that pretty much gives me that. it also has doubletracker which emulates a tape echo, flanger, chorus and slapback. i'm able to do that with either my echoplex ep3 or some of my strymon pedals-timeline, mobius and big sky.

as you can tell, i really like strymon and their pedals, just don't seem to need the deco. now, if i win one in a contest! ha!

IF those are some effects you may like, i think it will be a great pedal for a lot of people.

play music!
