Emmons year ?

I recently purchased a black mica S-12 Emmons. The serial number is 6644. It's stamped on the inside of the end plate by the changer. Could someone please tell me what year it is ? Thanks in advance for your time.

I'd say 1982 or 83. I own 6610 and I ordered it in 82.
