One of our local guys bought a SD-10 ZB off Ebay. The guitar arrived with three broken changers. I took the guitar over to Albert Johnson's shop and we came to the decision that the guitar needed a ZB expert. Is there such a person that he could send the guitar to ? Thanks for responding.

There's a great big thread on them. I bet some of the participants will either make stuff or know who does.

You can build a ZB changer fairly easy. Greg Jones helped and guided me through a ZB restoration a few years ago. But I had one changer that needed replaced. I kept trimming and trimming and went through about two dozen pop rivets but finally got one that matched. To my knowledge it worked fine. I didn't play the guitar much, but it seemed to work out with no issues.

Very ingenious changer. The more I looked at it and understood how it worked the better I liked it.

There are painstaking steps to setting up a ZB to play and feel really well. But they have a beauty and playability all their own.
