I broke one of my favorite thumb picks today while in my front pocket. It's a light color purple and very similar to herco. Any one know what these are?

My wife always gives me a hard time for stocking up on things. Six shotguns, nine rifles, 10 pistols, eight amps, three Tele's ect. lol Anyway I bought 2 dozen thumb picks from Jeff Newman. Now Jeff is gone but I have thumb picks.
Kevin, sorry you broke your pick. Don't know of any at this time but I will be on the lookout. _________________ Bill |

After years of playing I've found the GOLDEN GATE picks capable of providing me with the best of everything from sound to comfort.
Only thing worse for a steel player aside from breaking his thumb pick and being unable to perform well..........is the dropping of his flat bar into the round hole on the surface of a flat top guitar acoustic guiar, played Hawaiian style, in the middle of a stage performance during a concert. |

Thanks guys! I had been using Newman and Golden Gate (clown barf) but had found this older pick recently and grew quite fond of it. You know how it is...😯 |

Other than the color, looks like a Fred Kelly pick. Elderly instruments has them in the normal blue color. Good luck |

I think that's a Fred Kelly polycarbonate pick. The poly ones are stiffer, brighter - and break. The delrin ones are softer, mellower-sounding - and bend.

You can pick up small quantities on Ebay easily, too. |
