Fiddle Rosin residue is perfect.

Although I've never tried it, I've heard ther's a guitar product called "Gorilla Snot" that does the job.

I use National 1941 fingerpicks and never needed anything. Maybe my fingers don't sweat like yours.

Coolest thing I've found is Dunlop picks with black powdercoat on the part that fits around the finger. The powdercoat makes the picks stay on better -- I'm not sure why -- they look slicker but do stay on sweaty fingers better. They are also much more comfortable.

They are made by the 'Rajah': Ken Brattain in Texas. Go to http://www.aguitarcenter.com

I believe I bought mine from Scotty's Music. Couldn't figure out how to order tham off Ken's website. It's kinda confusing. If I were you I'd either give Ken or Scotty a call and try them out -- they work great for me -- I won't use anything else. FWIW.
