I am trying an experiment here, making a two-tone LDG. Here's what I have so far, cabinet is refinished and about ready to assemble.

That is an absolutely beautiful cabinet, Bob.
If it winds up sounding as good as it looks...oh, baby!

That is sweet! Can't say I've seen that color configuration on the LDG before. Nice job. |

When you need to make room for some of these new guitars I have room at my house and would let you store some of your old worn out guitars, like the SB permanents and finger tips. I'd be willing to endure that burden
Looks awesome Bob! See you soon I hope. |

I have the guitar reassembled and playing again. I still need to build an arm pad to fit this guitar, but everything else is functional. Here are some photos of the mostly finished guitar.

Bob!
You've done it again! Lovely guitar, top-flight work! Is that a rod guide "comb" in the middle? Love to see a better pic of that!

That's nice! I really like the way the natural color in the binding pulls both colors together. |

John, the rod guide Assembly was built by Sho-Bud, It looks like the top from a pickup Mounted to a Bracket. It does a pretty fair job of quieting down the rod noise.

Great job! I think it looks far better than the original colour scheme.
Now it has that ZB look... _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

I hate you!!!(well not really; I've always thought you were a cool dude Bob).
...But that was what I was going to do one day was that exact color scheme for an LDG....Emerald Green and natural. You beat me to it and btw it looks FANTASTIC.....great work bro.
