A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Steel Guitars of North County in Oceanside CA. I spent some time with proprietor Jim Palenscar and my friend Rick Schmidt. Had great time but I went there for a reason, to find a nice older S-12 to have as a backup and to preserve my nice old MSA.

My Lucky Day! There she was. A sweet little mid-70s MSA Classic. Pretty red lacquer, a little worn and obviously well used for many years. Just what I was looking for.
I brought her home and rejiggered her a little to suit me but I felt like I needed to excercise a little self expression so I made this.

Don't worry, the screws don't go through into the wood and it's made to be a completely removable accessory.
