I have a Beard Gold Tone PBS-M square neck reso guitar which I bought in London
in 2008.
It has white plastic pearloid tuning buttons and I'd like to replace them with metal buttons.
Is it possible to just buy a set of metal buttons so all I would have to do is removing the existing
plastic ones and screwing on the NEW metal ones (without having to remove the whole tuning mechanisms which are already on the guitar and replace them with new ones)?
Thanks.

On the link above the p/n TM-76 with the metal buttons are drop in replacements.

The early Goldtones had plastic buttons. When I was at the Beard shop we never found a source for replacements.
