Curious as to what devices you have in your rack mounts.

For those of you using the TC Electronic M One XL units...has anyone converted (engineered) the preferred presets from the Profex II to these newer units? Since the Profex units are getting some age and harder to obtain...would be good to test another platform.

I have 2 Walker Stereo Steel amps. One has a Lexicon Mx300
in it, and the other has a Lexicon MX400. Love both of them. Very Happy

Hey George,

How does the Quilter stand up against the Walker Stereo Steel combo?

Much lighter in weight. The Steelaire head weighs 7 lbs.
No holy grail here Don, fine sounding steel amplifier just as the Stereo Steel.
I like the tone of my tube stuff better. That doesn't translate to better for the next player.
Can be an endless circle.....

My rack got to be unmanageable. I haven't used it in four years. I'm back down to just a tuner and volume pedal into my Vibrosonic Reverb. This is the only picture I have of it.
It was:
Furman power conditioner>
BK Butler Blue Tube II Preamp>
Line 6 Filter Pro>
Lexicon Jam Man>
Electra Analog Delay>
Electrix MOFX>
Digitech Rotary Speaker Simulator>
Tech 21 Power Engine.

I was more interested in making noise than playing well.

I put this together quite economically and I know it doesn't hold a candle to most of what is displayed here. But, I'm using a Evans HVRP and a Boss VF-1 for effects. It took two evenings of fiddling with the knobs on both devices to get where I wanted to be, but it has ended up being quite serviceable. It is my silent recording set-up.
