Thanks for posting the video. Doug is absolutely a pleasure to listen to. You get the best country and jazz in a man as talented as Doug is. It was also good to see Carco Clave playing guitar on his set. He is a talented musician as well. |

As much as I enjoyed Doug's set, the young girl dancing said it all. She was wonderful.

Leland, thank you, I was completely surprised, I thought she was going to be bored, and asking me to go home, but she danced her little heart out, no matter what Doug played, country or jazz, she wouldn't stop, she wanted to go to Midnight Jamboree to see him again, but by the time we were supposed to go, she was out, sleeping like a baby, tired from all that dancing... _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

She reminded me of my daughter at that age, dancing at the ISGA Convention. I didn't realize that was you or I would have introduced myself.

thats ok Lee, we'll get together some other time, I think people should start bringing their kids and grandkids to steel shows, it may help the future of the instrument, and who knows how many potential young talented steel players would be in that little crowd _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

Doug Jernigan is a great player! He played on Lorrie Morgan's "Leave The Light On" record that came out in 1989. I love to hear the fast songs he plays! |

Brett,
You have great taste in music. Mr Jernigan also played on Lorrie's "Out Of Your Shoes". The phrase "Music Appreciation" was coined. . . because of people like Doug Jernigan. One of the best!

I love "Out of Your Shoes". Doug's steel, along with Lorrie's voice is awesome! Lorrie really loves the steel. |

Thanks Damir for posting your latest videos on Doug.
I like what Doug's playing here and the camera got right up in it so's I can gander at what is possible.
Where's the can of greased lightning?
His hands are something else, not to mention the notes.
