When a note in tab is noted as "split tuned", what does that mean? Thanks _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |

It means one pedal raises the string a whole step, and a second pedal lowers it a half step, and the result is a half step raise that you can tune independently of the other two pulls. Or vice versa. |

Thanks Earnest. I purchased a John Hughey tab book at the ISGC this past week and saw the split tuned and the two LKL. Thank you very much for explaining this to me. John had a special sound and immense feeling that most of the other great players dont have. Thank you. _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |

Amen Gary, and NOBODY plays or sounds like John Hughey did, and more than likely no one ever will again. |

Hughey, if I remember correctly, used the Day setup. Thus if you have the Emmons setup, some of his knee levers would be in different locations. |

Jack, you are correct. The Hughey tab is using the Day set up. _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |
