This wood is called "DragonWood" some times it is called Lace Wood I played this one for a few years at Steel Guitar Shows in Tulsa and Dallas and on my Live Broadcat show for SteelGuitarCamp on UStream.
Now I am Selling It along with several more of my Personal Keepers.

There is only 1 Dragon Wood Single 8 Console, The Burgundy color is it's natural tint with deep clear coats.

The Fret Board is Lace Wood - milled to precision 22.5 scale - Inlayed Real Jewelry Wire Silver Nickel Bars for Fret Lines - Inlayed Abalone Shell Markers - Edge Banded with Curly Maple Strips with Black White Black Trim - fancy lacquer finish.

The String Receiver and Nut holder are both DragonWood. My original Lindy Fralin Single Coils Alnico 5 Copper Shielded Pickup.
