Late 70's MM amp maybe???-Don't see many of these MM RP combo amps around .. In these amps they used on board phase shifter in place of tremelo.. It sounds wonderful!... No problems with this amp, it functions and performs well, and sounds really sweet!.. its tolex is in decent shape, a few cigarette burns.. The grill cloth is hideous and was installed long ago by a Troglodyte/Neanderthal.. The WORST mess of a grill cloth installation I have ever seen.. It also has had the speaker changed to a very nice Peavey Scorpion- heavy aluminum frame speaker that sounds really nice,,, The reverb works ok,, but is not real deep and I was about to install an upgraded Mod tank when I decided to sell the amp.. I guess it depends on how much reverb you need, I like LOTS, and this reverb tank is fairly lame for my taste.. I like this amp, but I can "hear" the SS preamp, and want tubes up front so I will get an all tube amp I guess. I have gigged it a few times, and it sounded very good with my carter, and is pretty light weight.. just remember its NOT 100 watts, its 65 with 2 EL 34 output tubes, and might not be the right amp for a super loud band.. It cuts though my band great, and I regularly get yelled at for being too loud with it, but we play reasonable volume.. $325 firm +shipping gets it.. Will consider trades/partial trades for a tube amp of some type... Pics forthcoming if there is any appreciable interest... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
