RAINS HELP-Want to add vertical to Rains SD-10 on left knee

How difficult would it be to add a vertical to my 3x4 SD-10 Rains? I have no experience working on the mechanicals of a pedal steel, but I am mechanically inclined and have skills. I can't seem to find a contact number for Gary. I used to have but lost it. Gary, are you still building and do you have parts?
