What specific make & model footswitch do I need to be able to turn off the reverb remotely on my Session 400? I'm suspect there are many footswitches that would work, but I'd rather buy the right one the first time. The manual says a 2 button footswitch with a standard 1/4 inch stereo plug and shielded cable will work.

Would a single button mono version work? I don't care about remotely controlling the tremolo as I never use it and it's always turned off at the amp.

Would any dual latching footswitch do the job provided it is compatible with a 1/4 TRS (stereo) jack?

You would still need a stereo plug, as the shield of a mono plug would complete the circuit of the other set of contacts.

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

I don't know whether the reverb is switched by the tip or ring. If the ring switches the tremolo, then you'd NEED two switches and TRS, but if the tips switches the reverb, you're good with a single switch.

It might work if you push it in half way so the tip of your plug hits the ring of the jack.

Paul,
I have a two button switch for a Reno 400 I have never used. I can't guarantee that it will work. But if your interested I will sell cheap and you pay shipping.
