MCI Vintage?/please close

My MCI D-10 has , "By Carter" written in small script below the logo. Also features laminate on the necks and pedalboard corresponding to the body trim. Anyone know which era of MCI guitars this falls into, perhaps the year of manufacture is indicated in the serial number?

Visited Billy Cooper today and he provided all the information that I required concerning my guitar. I consider myself very fortunate to live close enough to visit on a regular basis, always a wealth of information and interesting tales of the "good old days"!
