I took my son down to the show today to absorb as much as possible. All players did a great job. Everyone was very happy to see that I had a 11yr old into pedal steel. Very good time.

I bought some intructional videos from Joe Wright and he was very good to deal with and put on a great show.

I'm biased but Mike McGee played a great set and the band seemed to really gel behind him. What a fun outing in pedal steel world.

I'd like to say publicly, what a great time we had at the show. We made some new friends and it was nice to finally put faces with names I've been seeing on the forum for a long time. Being someone who hasn't done a lot of steel shows, it was a great learning experience in many ways. Thanks to Terry and Charlie and all the members of the OSGA for the invitation. And thanks to the band; Russ, Roy, Jim, Wayne, Dino and the fiddle player from Friday who's name I didn't catch. Those guys put in some long hours and played their tails off. (There was a pile of tails on stage). Very Happy Razz

My wife, Jeanne and I had a real nice time and she said to say "Thanks", too.
All the best to everyone.

I also want to add my thanks to the crew at OzSGA for a GREAT show BECAUSE of all their HARD work and LONG hours. You are a great group of people - HOF member Terry Bethel, Charlie and Rosemary, Venda and Jeremiah, Johnny and Pat, Buddy running sound - THANK YOU!

The boys in the band - Roy, my best bud Max King, Jimmie and Russ sharing drums(Sat. and Sunday), Dino, Wayne - it is an honor and a privilege to be on stage with you. Thank you so much!
