The Ozark Steel Guitar Super Event is just days away, those dates are July 25, 26, and 27. Our president, Terry Bethel, vice-president and his wife, Charlie and Rosemary Steichen, have done their best to make this super show as entertaining as possible and your accommodations as comfortable as possible. It's great to have our show in this lovely hotel, The Stone Castle Hotel. Many have already booked their room. An adjacent hotel, The Dockers Hotel, is also offering rooms. You can book either hotel through Branson Tourism, 1-800-268-4014. Ask for Becky and tell her you are with Ozark Steel Guitar Association!

Can you believe the admission price is only $20 a day! Where can you hear great steel guitar music for that price!!! You can get a discount by getting Friday and Saturday together-$30! Sunday is a special day where the entire day is highlighting Gospel Music. The church service is at 10:00, then the show continues after that with all players playing wonderful, uplifting gospel music. The price for the Sunday show is $10 or $15, a couple.

Some of the restaurants close by are offering a discount to the OzSGA attendees. So be sure and take advantage of that. During the afternoon shows we will have snacks available, so if you ladies want to bring things like, cakes, cookies, chips, etc. we would be very appreciative!! We won't have kitchen facilities, just bring whatever can be kept without refrigeration, unless you bring your own cooler to keep your food cold!

I've heard of people coming from many different places and I think it's going to be a Super Event for sure! So, come and enjoy a Super Weekend in Branson, MO!! See you July 25, 26, and 27.

Jerry, looking forward to seeing you and all the other great players. I'm just glad that Jean and I are able to make it to the show. I'll have a good time although I'm not playing. Its all about the love of the instrument, and the fellowship with all the great people. Larry and Jean

Thanks Larry and Jean. I wish I could have everybody on the show that I wanted but if I di the show would be 10 days long.
You are right the reason I have been doing these shows for all of these years is for the love of the instrument, and the fellowship between the people that attend the shows, and the players themselves who donate time and energy to make each show a little better than the last one (we hope so anyway) . See all of you Friday Morning at 9:00AM,
Terry Bethel
