What suggestions for the perfect practice studio layout for steel guitar. Size is not an issue. Including any and all equipment.

Music stand in front of the guitar, a stereo or computer to your right, amp behind you. I can't seem to control the stereo with the bar hand.

There was a thread a while back where members showed pictures of their project studios.
You might be able to find it with a search.

I have a music stand in front of the guitar and have a tablet computer that sits on just like a notepad. It's super simple and it works okay if you use a stylist on the tablet. Not having a mouse and keyboard is the downside.

I bought a curved piece of drum rack and a few drum rack clamps that fit it.

I clap it to my front two legs on my steel and have a music holder and tuner holder that fit in it.

It's a little overkill but It works good for me and it's completely adjustable.

Paul, just make sure your window in this practice room faces the south and you'll be fine.

Hey Kevin, that drum rack idea is awesome! You've given me something to think about there.
