Hey,
I find the Fishman Jerry Douglas Aura an essential piece of gear for live dobro. It's really almost perfect, IMO.
BUT.......
I'm a multi-instrumentalist who's constantly trying to consolidate my live setup. Currently, I'm working with the Kemper Stage. You can load IR's on to it, and I see folks have taken IR's from other Aura pedals (for acoustic guitar and banjo, for instance).
If I could load one of the JD IR's onto the Kemper, and use it with their EQ, boost, reverb and delay, that would be a game-changer.
Thoughts?

Jim; I spoke with a rep from Fishman who said they don't offer IR's however you can make one going through an Aura and save it...worth trying! _________________ I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.
I received my education, drivin through the Nation listenin to Paul!.. ( Franklin that is! ) |

Just a thought. An IR file will give you the total response of an instrument. If you apply the IR to a PSG, for instance, you will get the total response of the IR plus the response of your PSG.
To accurately generate the final response of only the Dobro, for example, you need to subtract the IR from your PSG. Isn't that so? |

I believe you can just create a profile of your JD Aura pedal by running a line out of the Kemper thru the pedal and back into the Kemper and profiling it. I did this with a Fishman spectrum aura pedal and it worked perfectly. |

Thanks, Michael!
After modeling, where do you run them......in the "amplifier" block, with no cab?
