If anyone that wants to help my dad is not familiar or comfortable with the GoFundMe website, you can send your donation directly to me via U.S. mail, PayPal, etc. If you let me know I will provide you with my mailing address. This is a very humbling experience, but as many of you know, there is no pension or retirement plan for most full-time musicians. Honestly, any amount is appreciated. We just want to cover living expenses until Buzz can figure out his next move. Below is what I posted on my facebook page for those who cannot see it and are interested. Thank you for reading.
One of my dad's niece's set up a donation site for my father Buzz Evans . He recently had a stroke that has left him with extremely limited vision in one eye and zero vision in the other. While he feels good and is otherwise healthy, this event prevents him from working even a fraction of what he needs to. There's no retirement plan for most full-time musicians and working full-time was normal for this 76 going on 26 year old. Any amount donation will help if you've been touched by his music and spirit or if you just want to help an extremely talented musician and wonderful human being that is loved by so many people all over the country and other countries. We want to help him cover living expenses until he figures out what his next move is. Thank you for considering and reading. |

The turn out for " Buzz Evans " was super. So many wonderful folks came out in support of him. Buzz wanted me to thanks you all for him and to tell you all he loves you.It sure was great to see my old friend " Paul Bowman " from his Million Dollar Country Music Radio Show that was on KFOX fm Radio Station is Southern California & his son Mark who is a good drummer. My high was picking Guitar with Buzz by my side. What a Honor. He is a Musicians Musician just like my good friends Al Bruno,Jay Dee Maness & Skip Edwards. The 4 great Musician are a big vital part of what makes us want to pick and play Country Music.God Bless you all and thanks again for your love and support in what we do. PS: Big super thanks to Bobby Kingston & his wife. The God father Of Southern California Country Music Uncle Leo J Eiffert Jr & the Pigeons - facebook. Also,Thanks to Bobby Lee for this outlet. |

Thanks for the info, LJ Eiffert. I would have been there had I known about it before I made my travel plans. Missed it by one day. And I echo your sentiments for Bobby and Melissa Kingston hosting the benefit, and for Bobby Lee for having this Forum, not just for this but for all the steel news and information. |
