The singer must be Hermann Lammers Meyer, I know he played with Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Day. Maybe it's Jimmy? _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

After listening again, I'm not sure if it's Hermann. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Hi Joachim,
I admit this is a tough one, but you are right, it is not Hermann Lammers-Meyer. I'll leave it open for a little while to give others a chance to listen. The singer is a well-respected artist in the Texas Music Scene (and a fiddle player, too).

Sorry!!!!
It totally escaped me that I had never posted the answer on this clip - it is Alvin Crow & The Pleasant Valley Boys, with our own Herb Steiner on Steel.
Kind Regards and Apologies, Walter _________________ www.lloydgreentribute.com |

That was impressive to say the least. It sounds to me like he is influenced by Jerry Byrd. Who has not been impressed and influenced by such quality picking. Thanks for putting that one up for our enjoyment. |
