Good Morning,

This week's clip goes back to 1976, just a nice little country tune: Smile

Enjoy the music!

The singer must be Hermann Lammers Meyer, I know he played with Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Day. Maybe it's Jimmy?

After listening again, I'm not sure if it's Hermann. Confused

Hi Joachim,

I admit this is a tough one, but you are right, it is not Hermann Lammers-Meyer. I'll leave it open for a little while to give others a chance to listen. The singer is a well-respected artist in the Texas Music Scene (and a fiddle player, too). Smile

Kind Regards, Walter

Sorry!!!!

It totally escaped me that I had never posted the answer on this clip - it is Alvin Crow & The Pleasant Valley Boys, with our own Herb Steiner on Steel.

Kind Regards and Apologies, Walter

That was impressive to say the least. It sounds to me like he is influenced by Jerry Byrd. Who has not been impressed and influenced by such quality picking. Thanks for putting that one up for our enjoyment.
