Vintage Fender Twin Reverb, recapped, new tubes, etc, by David Allen of Allen Amplification last year. No mods were performed other than the installation of a new, properly grounded, 3 prong cord. At the time of tune up, he told me that this amp actually is a true AB763. The cabinet is all original, no scuffs, tears, no pitting or rust on the hardware, no scratches on the front panel. I purchased this amp new at "Kenny Music" in Huntington, WVA, early 1969. I have used this amp, however, as with all of my equipment, have kept it in pristine condition. It comes with the original Victoria Luggage cover & footswitch. I might even be able to find the original (blank) warranty card/book along with the hang tags whenever I return to my house in Ky. for a visit, can't be certain though. This amp looks as though it just came off the sales floor of a Fender dealer, a true time capsule. Did I mention that it sounds very, very good too? $2000, firm, plus shipping, lower 48. I just recently had a Fender Vibrosonic professionally packaged and shipped (heavier than this amp) without a scratch so I know it can be done. Of course, it was heavily insured too. I will split the shipping/packaging costs or you're welcome to come to my home in south central Florida and pick it up. I welcome any questions, either reply to post, PM or email. Thank you for your consideration.

Chris, that's a good question. I'm just very, very particular with all of my equipment, probably to a fault. I've got a little 1966 Fender Champ amp that I bought new while in grade school, paid $69 for it, looks mint.

That is one fine lookin' amp, and it's worth the money, in that condition. They sell ragged old Twins, at the Dallas Guitar Show for that kind of money, and the covers are torn up, knobs missing, and the front plates scratched to death. Somebody needs to grab this amp, if your lookin' for a Twin.

Thank you, Bill. Also, I would like to mention that I'll be away from the computer/forum tomorrow as I plan on flying to St. Thomas with some friends for the day, returning tomorrow evening, weather permitting Smile .

A couple of fellows from two major music store retail/outlets that I had previously mentioned the amp to, got into a bidding war. Sold, off forum. Please close.
