So you find a D10 for $1500, vol-ped and Peterson tuner with bars, picks, strings, cords, tab etc.
You sell your little S10 for $500.
You sell the unwanted extra knee levers (4) to a rebuilder for a few hundred.
Now we are at about $750-800 for a D10 which works well and sounds good too, you are in hog heaven and ready to finally play with the big dogs.
Sometimes it is just to good of a deal to pass up.
This the the story of a young player in Washington state I have coached for a few years, he is a happy camper now.
