Dated to 1964, this Fender Deluxe 6 has all original wiring/pups/electronics. 22.5" scale length. Strong singing pickups. As you can see from the photos, there are significant dings in the body and on the fretboard. A little bit of wear on the corners of the case, but otherwise in good shape. Legs are nice. The tone pot doesn't have much sweep to it, goes from either all dark to all bright. I've elected to not swap out the tone pot to keep the electronics 100% original Great for Boowahs! Volume/Tone Pots have been professionally cleaned and slightly loose connection on jack re-soldered. Lake Placid Blue finish is either from the custom shop or a 1960's refinish. Even without the tuner pans or pickup plate there is no sign of another finish. That being said, Lake Placid Blue was not a stock color for Fender lap steels of the era. Bought this from a forum member, just trying to break even on it. Selling because I'm mostly playing 8 string nowadays and just bought an old rick for 6 string playing!
$750 (shipped/insured CONUS)
PayPal Okay
Skype/YouTube Demo Available on Request
Possibly interested in trades for 7-8 string straight steel, metal bodied ricks or well setup entry level pedal steel (although I know that's a looong shot!)
