This little gal is a blues oozing 6 stringed machine. She's got plenty of character, and has had the frets and brass saddle cleaned up and polished. Plays way better than I even imagined it would! This is a good ol' Made in the U.S.A. guitar, and the quality speaks for itself in that it's even been around for 5 decades and is still in remarkably good condition! Action is a bit higher (But still plenty playable, just not the low action you'd want for regular rhythm playing), and I tuned it to open G and it does great playing with a slide. Plays just as great in regular tuning or tuned down a half or whole step (and sounds like that good old blues reminiscent of the originals like Robert Johnson, Leadbelly, Howlin' Wolf or Lightnin' Hopkins). Has a nice deep bass resonance that I love (and you have to love those air-brushed "tiger flames" over the spruce top). Strung up with some light gauge D'Addarios currently. She's by no means perfect (as can be seen in the pictures, she has her nicks and bruises), but she's sturdy and as an American guitar from the 60's should be, she's stood the test of time, and still has many a song left in her bosom. Get your blues on and pick up this sweet tone machine! Price is $125 plus PayPal + Shipping!
