The Doctor said, "Take two blonds and call me in the morning"! What a refreshing color. I just aquired a pecan color Emmons same year. I would love to own this guitar.

Do not want to hi-jack Duane's post, but I will answer your question Kevin. When Jack worked at Emmons Company, it has become evident over the years that Jack did quality work. Sometimes employees don't seem to care as much as Jack did. Some sloppy work was done at Emmons, because I have one guitar that is proof of that.

I am rather interested in a Lashley 2 SD10 (but my beautiful Fulawka D10 is still for sale).

I have a SKH D-10 with the same Mica color and get a ton of compliments on the color.

Larry, maybe a little history on this would help, A Strayhorn at this price should be gone already.

If I didn't already have a "Strayhorn" built Emmons LGIII, I would definitely be working on getting this one! From past experience, an Emmons built by Jack is a "cut above". Papa John would only let Jack touch his, how do I know, Papa John told me so back in 2002. When this one finds a home, someone will be VERY pleased for sure.

No better guy to deal, and certainly no better guitar to buy.
