Is there a "break-in period" for a Peavey Blue Marvel speaker? If so, what would be the average amount of time (playing hours).
I realize there has been some debate if a break-in time exists, but it would stand to reason the more the speaker cone flexed the more responsive it would become.
I have a new NV112 and just installed the "Fox" chips. I'm hesitating replacing the Blue Marvel with the Eminence EPS-12C if the BM will improve with playing time. I don't play out much and am having an issue with justifying the change-out cost. |

I've heard numbers in the 20-30 hours. Run your MP3 player through your amp for a few days.
Unless you don't like listening to music. Naah.
Radio Shack sells a cable that goes 3.5mm to 1/4".
Yeah, you'll only get one channel, but not really a big deal. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

The Blue Marvel is an economy speaker and will not improve. The EPS-12C is a 400% better speaker. |
