Someone familiar with Stewart amps.

Is there a problem for the amp to leave the amp turned on and use a separate mains switch for power on and off?

I know the Stewart uses electronic switching instead of a transformer and comes on with a short delay, and no power up "thump" when using the unit on/off switch. However, when using a mains on/off it comes on with a thump.
