This is my FryPan-6 Lap Steel Guitar. This guitar is constructed of solid 6061 aircraft grade aluminum alloy, two pieces (neck, body). The FryPan-6 is a 25" scale, and is left handed (lefty). String spacing at bridge is 7/16, at nut is 3/8. Weight is 13.6 pounds (very beefy) The Pickup flat work is Padauk wood, wound with 43 gauge wire to around 8K resistance. Guitar is tuned to open D.
Here is a link to a short (45 seconds) walk around video of this guitar:

The musician who purchased this left handed FryPan-6, Lefty Luc, has sent me an audio file, his band, 'Big D & Route 158', recorded 'Mercury Blues'. He uses this FryPan-6 in this song. I used his sound track as background music to a slide show, featuring 1949 Mercury Coupes.

He said the guitar is tuned to open E, plugged directly into a tube amp. He does not use finger picks.

Mr. Johnson,
That guitar is a work of art, as are all of your aluminium guitars. In open "E" it roars, a great addition to any Rock Guitar players instruments.
