Can anyone shed some light as to what in the heck he's doing at marker 0:59?

Drew, he's sliding into a forward slant, with the top of the bar at the 3rd string with the B pedal engaged and the bottom of the bar slanted 2 frets back on string 5 for a unison, then bringing the bottom of the bar even with the B pedaled 3rd string, then engaging the A pedal on string 5 (or in Weldon's case, his C pedal). One of my favorite Weldon tricks.
