Anybody know what the pullback springs with the threads in them like Mullen and a host of other guitar builders use is called? ...need some longer than standard and don' know what to ask for...thx...Charlie... _________________ Use it up,wear it out,make it do,or do without..... |

I'm certainly no expert when it comes to Mullen return springs, but lengthening the springs will change a lot more than the spring length. You would probably be better off using longer screws instead of changing the springs. _________________ 1974 Marlen S-12 1968 Tele 1969 Martin D-35H |

I don't think those springs with nuts in them are commercially available. I believe they're fabricated.
Michael Yahl can fix you up...or Jim Palenscar. Both can fabricate the assembly at the length you need.
by the way, they're called "adjustable lower return springs". _________________ Best regards,

Glenn guess I did not make myself clear,Im not needing the springs for a Mullen just using it for an example,working on a homade deal,sorry for the comfusion...CM _________________ Use it up,wear it out,make it do,or do without..... |
