Does anyone have the dimensions for the seat box without legs? I am thinking the one I made is too wide and too deep. So just curious.

If it is comfortable and holds what you want it to hold, then you didn't make it too wide or too deep. I wouldn't be concerned if it doesn't match the sizes of other pak-a-seats. I could measure mine tomorrow if you really want that info.

Greg...Have owned several pac seats over the years, but my absolute favorite remains the unit that was built for me by W.C. Edgar (presently 'Steelseats' by Joe Naylor). The box was made deeper than most available seats, but the feature that I liked best was that instead of the standard divided compartments inside, he chose to install a non stationary tray which when removed allowed ample storage for spare cords and a power strip. Can send photos of the interior if interested.

Greg, I built my own. The box is 6 inches deep, 16" wide, 14" front to back.

Thanks David

I know the dimensions of mine Very Happy Very Happy

but they are all different - not really any standards. During the time I was looking at buying steelseats - I found the dimensions are all over the map

After talking to lots and lots of musicians and each have their own ideas - that is why I have about 8 or 9 models and lots and lots of options.
