I just scored a great deal on a new multi-effects pedal.
The Zoom G1on has lush reverbs, delays, chorus, overdrive and all the usual bells and whistles for under $50.00 !!
There are only a few usable patches right out of thye box, but it's easy to program your own with just the right amount of Delay/reverb etc.

I just tested it through my "go to" powered speakers and it sounds amazing. I will be posting some recordings at a later date.

It also has a very basic looper and drum machine for practice use. Wink Smile Very Happy I'm Happy!

I have been having fun and spending a lot of time going through all the presets and editing them to be more "steel guitar" friendly.

Some are way out there! Some I have deleted entirely and started with simple reverb or delay or chorus in various combinations.

There are hundreds of effects available. The "plate" reverb is studio quality! It's amazing how powerful a digital processor can be, and completely nail some of the famous sounds we hear on recordings.

I am completely stoked with this little box, and the batteries are lasting forever.
