You can back up the clip to the beginning of the entire show, but I thought I'd leave this link here fast-forwarded to her solo in "I'm Not Feeling It Anymore". Flat-out incredible...

This is excellent. Thanks for sharing. I saw Van a couple of months ago and it was such a pleasure to see a bunch of musicians at the top of their game and obviously enjoying themselves. Even Van was smiling Whoa!

Unfortunately, he did not have Sarah Jory or indeed any steel player with him. Separately, I saw Paul Godden play with his own band just before this. He is an excellent non-pedal player and appeared on a couple of Van's albums, including Pay The Devil. Van's a bit like Frank Zappa: he can pick and choose the best players.

Edited to remove trailing tag.

Thanks Byron - gotta love the 'Belfast Cowboy', as the Band used to call him!

His song 'Moonshine Whiskey' on the album Tupelo Honey was one of the tunes that first drew me to the steel.

I also didn't realise Sarah Jory was such a good multi-instrumentalist!
